Buy Rogue HG 2.0 Bumper Plates
When you buy Rogue HG 2.0 Bumper Plates, you get the plate Rogue builds for high-volume training: a dense, all-black rubber bumper with a stainless steel insert, cut thinner than many comparable bumpers so you can load more weight per sleeve. The HG 2.0 is a staple of CrossFit competition floors and serious home gyms across the United States.
All HG 2.0 pairs and sets listed here are brand-new. Shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC, and you can choose individual pairs from 10 to 55 pounds or sets from 160LB up to 1,000LB.
HG 2.0 Bumper Plate Specifications
The HG 2.0 uses the IWF-standard 450mm diameter with an 88 durometer rubber for a "dead" landing with minimal bounce. Here are the key numbers:
| Outside diameter | 450mm / 17.72 in. (IWF standard) |
|---|---|
| Collar opening | 50.40mm / 1.98 in. |
| Insert | Stainless steel |
| Durometer | 88 Shore A (average) |
| Weight tolerance | ±1% of claimed weight |
| Plate widths | 10LB 1.00", 15LB 1.37", 25LB 2.00", 35LB 2.75", 45LB 3.25", 55LB 3.75" |
| Finish | Black, Rogue logo in black-on-black |
Rogue's listed warranty is 90 days on the 10LB and 15LB plates and 3 years on the 25LB through 55LB plates. Rogue also lists the HG 2.0 as approved for the U.S. Army Combat Fitness Test.
Choosing Pairs and Sets
The 160LB and 230LB sets cover most beginner and intermediate programs. Athletes who clean, snatch and deadlift heavy will appreciate the 350LB, 500LB and 1,000LB options, which outfit a full platform or a small affiliate. The 55LB pair is useful when you want to keep a heavy bar all-rubber without running out of sleeve space. Some sizes may show as out of stock in the option menu; they cannot be selected until they return.
- Light pairs (10LB, 15LB) for technique work and warm-ups
- Mid pairs (25LB, 35LB) for smooth progression
- Heavy pairs (45LB, 55LB) for top sets and max attempts
Who Should Choose the HG 2.0?
Choose the HG 2.0 if you drop the bar often and want a plate that stays quiet and predictable. It works well for Olympic lifting, conditioning workouts and barbell complexes. If you train mostly in kilograms, look at the Rogue HG 2.0 KG Bumper Plates. If you want team or brand artwork, the same plate is available as HG 2.0 Zeus Custom Bumpers.

Rogue HG 2.0 Bumper Plates FAQ
What is the difference between HG 2.0 and Echo bumper plates?
Both are 450mm rubber bumpers with stainless inserts and 88 durometer rubber. The HG 2.0 comes in more sizes, including 55LB pairs and sets up to 1,000LB, and carries a longer listed warranty on its heavier plates.
Do HG 2.0 bumper plates bounce?
They have minimal bounce. The 88 durometer rubber is firm enough to absorb impact without kicking the bar back up after a drop.
Can I drop HG 2.0 plates on concrete?
Use a lifting platform or rubber flooring. Bumpers are built to be dropped, but a proper surface protects both the plates and your slab.
