If you want to buy Rogue 12-Sided Urethane Grip Change Plates, you are adding the small plates from Rogue's 12-sided urethane line. They come in 2.5LB, 5LB and 10LB pairs, each with a solid cast-iron core inside a polyurethane coating at least 3mm thick. Small iron plates are the ones that get dropped, kicked and knocked around the most. A urethane coating protects them, protects your floor and keeps loading quieter. The 12-sided shape is especially helpful on change plates, which are easy to set down on edge and lose under a bench or rack when they roll. With flat sides, they stay put.

Good to Know
The change plates in this line do not have the recessed handle cut-outs found on the 25LB, 35LB and 45LB plates. They are iron plates with a protective coating, not bumpers, so they should not be dropped on their own from height. Store them on a plate tree or rack peg to keep pairs together.

Can I use these with plates from other lines?
Yes. The 50.6mm opening fits any standard Olympic barbell, so they load alongside bumpers, iron plates or calibrated plates. Many lifters use 12-sided change plates simply because they do not roll off when set down between sets.
