When you buy Rogue Add-On Change Plate Pair sets, you get small plates that slide onto the handle of a dumbbell or fixed-weight bar to add weight in tiny steps. They come in 0.5LB, 1.0LB and 1.5LB pairs, or a 6LB set with one pair of each. The steel core is wrapped in a 4mm TPE rubber shell, and each weight is color-coded green, yellow or red.

Why Add-On Plates for Dumbbells?

Dumbbell racks usually jump in 5-pound steps. For lateral raises, curls, presses and rehab exercises, going from a 20LB to a 25LB dumbbell is a 25% increase, which is often too much. Add-on plates close that gap. A pair of 0.5LB plates turns a 20LB dumbbell into a 21LB dumbbell, and the 1.5LB pair makes it 23LB. That keeps your progress smooth without buying a whole new set of dumbbells.

The 6LB Set
