When you buy Rogue Black Training KG Plates, you get a kilogram training bumper with the build of a competition plate and a stealthier look. Each plate has a black body with a rubber color stripe, a chrome-plated steel disc insert and IWF-style color-coded lettering. They are calibrated to within ±15 grams and use a firm 94 durometer rubber.
All pairs and sets are brand-new and ship free to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC. Choose 10KG to 25KG pairs or 90KG, 110KG, 120KG and 140KG sets.

Competition Construction, Training Look
The thicknesses and the chrome-plated steel disc match Rogue's KG competition plates, which means these are thin, accurate and firm. The difference is the finish: a black plate with a color stripe and colored lettering instead of a fully colored plate. Many lifters and gym owners prefer the black look for a cleaner, more uniform space, while still being able to read weights quickly.

How are these different from Rogue KG Competition Plates?
They share the same thickness, chrome disc and 94 durometer. The Black Training plates have a black body with a color stripe instead of fully colored rubber.
Are the colors IWF standard?
The lettering follows IWF colors: green 10KG, yellow 15KG, blue 20KG and red 25KG.
How accurate are they?
Within ±15 grams of their stated weight.
Do I need lighter plates as well?
This line starts at 10KG. For technique work below that, add a pair of full-size 5KG bumpers, such as the 5KG HG 2.0 KG plate, so the bar still sits at the correct height. Change plates handle the small jumps between working sets.
