Buy Rogue LB Competition Plates
If you want to buy Rogue LB Competition Plates, you are stepping up to a true competition-grade bumper. These plates combine chrome-plated steel disc inserts with protective rubber flanges, calibrated to within ±15 grams of their stated weight. They follow standard color coding (green, yellow, blue and red) and use the 450mm IWF-standard diameter, so they look and perform like the plates on a weightlifting meet platform, but in pounds.
All pairs and sets are brand-new and ship free to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC. Choose 25LB to 55LB pairs, or a 210LB, 300LB or 320LB set.

Competition vs Training Bumpers
Competition plates are built to a tighter standard than everyday bumpers. The steel disc makes up much of the plate's weight, which keeps the plate thin. A 45LB competition plate is just 2.15 inches wide, so heavy cleans and snatches still fit on the sleeve. The firm 94 durometer rubber gives a solid, controlled landing. The ±15 gram calibration means the weight on the bar is exactly what you meant to load.
- Thin profile: more weight per sleeve
- Calibrated: accurate to ±15g per plate
- Color-coded: instant identification on the platform
Which Set Should You Choose?

- 300LB set: two each of 25LB and 35LB, plus four 45LB
- 320LB set: two each of 25LB, 35LB, 45LB and 55LB

Rogue LB Competition Plates FAQ
Are Rogue LB Competition Plates IWF approved?
They follow the IWF-standard 450mm diameter and color coding, but IWF meets are run in kilograms. For IWF-approved plates, choose the KG version.
How accurate are these plates?
Each plate is calibrated to within ±15 grams of its stated weight.
Can I drop competition plates?
Yes, they are bumpers designed to be dropped on a proper lifting platform. Avoid dropping on bare concrete.
Should I use collars with competition plates?
Yes. Collars keep plates from sliding during cleans, snatches and drops. Thin competition plates can shift on the sleeve if left unsecured, which changes the balance of the bar and can damage the plates. Spring clips work for light sessions, but locking collars hold better under heavy loads.
